DMV artist Mikey Polo recently released a song and music video featuring platinum artist Trippie Redd – Baguette Spaghetti.
This is one of the first major moves since signing to the 1400 Label, but Mikey is no rookie in the music industry. Known as the king of “Emo Trap” music, Mikey Polo has a versatile stash of flows. His unique sound inspired by artists like Young Thug, Future, Lil Wayne, and Wiz Khalifa, reaches markets outside of just rap fans. Since his debut mixtape Slime World, Mikey Polo has cumulated a large following that loves his ability to rap and make melodic tunes that range from trap to heartbreak music. Since Slime World dropped in 2018, Mikey has released a dozen hit singles to keep listeners engaged. Mind Games achieved mass support on Tik Tok since users created the #mindgamechallenge. Sunny Diamonds featuring Famous Dex is arguably the catchiest song of 2020 that leaves you singing “My diamonds they dance in the sun” the rest of the week. And song Emo Girl is quite simply an Emo Trap anthem.
